Freedom and Victory!

This marathon will not be another thing that controls me. A thing that I can run so I can eat. NO!This is going to be a victory, freedom run! I run so I can throw off the sin that so entangles me. I want the marathon to be a victory for me, when I say to Satan!

I can do All things through Christ who strenghtens me!
I can throw off the sin that entanges and run the race God has for me!
My body is a temple, bought with a price, therefore I will glorify God with my body
I am more than a conqueror
The weapons I fight wiht are not of this world, but htey have divine power to demolish strongholds.
I will take captive every thought of food, of defeat and make it obedient to Christ
God has brought me to a place of safety. HE has rescued me with a new lifestyle of proper eating and exercies. He has given me a battle plan. His right hand will substain me and give me a wide path for my feet! Victory
God himself will sanctify my body-my whole spirit, soul, a nd body. The one who calls me IS FAITHFUL AND HE HIMSELF WILL DO IT
I will bow daily to the control of the Holy Spirit in my life. I will choose this day whom I will serve.
It is for freedom Christ has set me free
You are the Lord God of all mankind. Nothing is too hard for you
We offer our bodies as living sacrifices
God is able to do more than I can ask or imagine
We press on to the goal to win the prize
Fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfectoer of my faith
Help me run in such a way to ge thte prize
Flee from sin-Pursue righteousness, godlinesss, faith love, endurance, gentleness
You will giveus the desire of our heart-to be free and run a marathon. And make our plans suceed
We have put off our old self and put on our new self
YOur joy is my strength!

Legacy Maker and Cycle Breaker!~

God allowed me to hear the coolest thing on the radio today. It was on Today in the Word on Moody, some guy named Mike something?
It was all about cycle breaking. I wrote some notes down about it.
To break a cycle, you must STOP something else, then START something else by doing the opposite. You have to take a BOLD step in opposite direction. Make Your weakness become your strength. And just like Gideon used the shattered peices of the Astaroth pole to fuel his burnt offering to the Lord..The shattered pieces of our old cycle become the FUEL for our new cycle! God uses what we are most ashamed of!

Become a Legacy maker and a cycle breaker..So it will not be repeated in the next generation.

WE will run the marathon at Disney world 2010! Because we will STOP being lazy...Being defeated. Struggling with the victory/defeat cycle.We will STOP letting food control our lives. We will START eating in Moderation..Start running, stride by stride to 26.2 miles. To remind us of the victory! We are not defeated. We WILL Start, and we will Get a Medal shaped like Mickey!

Fall into Freedom

Hey sista. I don't know about you but this fall air just makes me come alive more then I could ever express to you! And I hope you know what a HUGE blessing you are to me. I feel sooo blessed to be running this victory with you. I had a dream about Team and Training last night. Girl we've got this. How have you been doing?

I just wanted to encourage us both that we are "falling' with the weather into victory and freedonm. We CAN do all things through Christ.. and God's word-- which promises victory is alive and active in us! I love that. We can lift our hands... we can dance. Don't give up or don't give in.. we are not DONE with our journey.. we are not stopped.. we are RUNNING! How about that sister! I'm excited about the 5K this weekend and praying that you have a blast. I will be cheering you and Todd on! We've got this disney world thing!!

How about food? I have been walking in glorious freedom this week--- which does involve occasionally eating a yummy cookie just so you know!

Nothing is Impossible with God!

My devotion in Jeremiah was very rich this morning. God told Jeremiah to do something CRAZY for him. He had just told him that The city was going to be taken captive by the King of babylon, Nebe! for short...So...They would no longer have the land. But then God told Jeremiah to buy a deed of land there.....Say what Lord? You just told me it will be taken captive..Then you want me to buy land there? vs 25 says.."?You have said to me, buty for yourself the field with money and call in witnesses-although the city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans?
I love the LOrd's response....Behold I am the Lord the God of all flesh...Is ANYTHING to difficult for me?

Hehhe. God has told two blond 27 year old non athletes to run a disney world marathon in 2010. To experience victory over food! Over laziness. And over the lie of defeat!
Are you sure Lord...26.2 miles is a loooooonng time..
Ahhh. Michelle and JEnn....IS ANYTHING TO DIFFICULT FOR ME?Buy the tickets...But the workout clothes..Run and don't grow weary. Wait and see what I will do!

I heard an old old story

How a savior came from glory-- how made the LAME to run again and caused the girls to speed.. I heard about his groanings, of His precous strength He gave us.. and some sweet day we'll run that way to DiSNEY VICTORY

All together now:
Oh victory in Jesus , our savior forever
He sought us and bought us with His redeeming blood. He loved us ere we knew Him and all our love is due Him, he plunged us to victory beneath His cleansing flood! :-)

So in victory we will run. Look forward to running today. Yesterday I did a workout video for 45 minutes with Kellie and I felt great. Trying real hard this week to focus on two things eating wise 1) Moderation-- finishing when I am full 2) drinking more water.. what about you sista?

Satan WILL NOT lie to us and tell us we will always be the "fat girls" in defeat
Food will NOT overcome us!

Self discipline is a fruit of the Spirit!
God will be glorified!

But most of all.....We get a REALLY COOL MEDAL TO ADD TO OUR COLLECTION!
